Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: Luke 19:1-10
He entered Jericho and was passing through it. A man was there named Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. He was trying to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, because he was going to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today.” So he hurried down and was happy to welcome him. All who saw it began to grumble and said, “He has gone to be the guest of one who is a sinner.” Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.” Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.”

The Healing Message:
The Message Behind The Miraculous Conversion Of Zacchaeus
1) When a sinner (rich or poor, believer or unbeliever), desires to know and see Jesus Christ personally, Jesus will come to him personally.
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
2) Wherever the presence of Jesus Christ is received by faith, his power to heal and to change people's lives is present.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”-Luke 1:41-42
--When you hear and receive the good news, you hear and receive Jesus.
3) The divine presence of Jesus Christ is God's goodness manifested to us.
Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?-Romans 2:3-4
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.-Psalm 25:8
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”-Luke 6:37
4) Salvation leads to good works and charity.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.-Ephesians 2:8
5) The divine presence of Jesus in us makes us truly generous.
Honor the LORD with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.-Proverbs 3:9-10
Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.-2 Corinthians 9:7-8
6) When a man receives the presence of Jesus Christ in his life by faith he is no longer affected by persecutions.
7) Humility.
All these things my hand has made, and so all these things are mine, says the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look, to the humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at my word.-Isaiah 66:2
May you have a happy and prosperous life!
