Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: Matthew 25:14-30

“It will be as when a man who was going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them. To one he gave five talents; to another, two; to a third, one—to each according to his ability. Then he went away. Immediately the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five. Likewise, the one who received two made another two. But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money. After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them. The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five. He said, ‘Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’ (Then) the one who had received two talents also came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’ Then the one who had received the one talent came forward and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a demanding person, harvesting where you did not plant and gathering where you did not scatter; so out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground. Here it is back.’ His master said to him in reply, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant and gather where I did not scatter? Should you not then have put my money in the bank so that I could have got it back with interest on my return? Now then! Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten. For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.’”

The Healing Message:

7 Lessons On God's Blessings

1) Remember God is calling everyone first to repentance.

God has already prepared something for us even before we ask.

2) God gives us blessings so we can multiply it.

When you receive a blessing it is not only for you but for the glory of God and for others as well.

3) God is not pleased with the person who only wants to receive but does nothing to glorify God and to help others.

4) God wants us to live a happy and prosperous life, to live in abundance in all things according to each one's ability.

Come, share your master’s joy.’”-Matthew 25:14-23

5) Honor the Lord with the first fruits of your blessings.

After you give, you shall receive.

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits of all your produce; Then will your barns be filled with grain, with new wine your vats will overflow.-Proverbs 3:9-10

6) Remember God always reward with so much more those who can be trusted with little or small things.

Come, share your master’s joy.’-Matthew 25:20-23

God is an idea because you cannot see him. And good ideas come from God. Small or foolish thing an idea might be to you, remember God uses small things to shame the wise.

Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, so that no human being might boast before God.-1 Corinthians 1:27-29

7) God's grace and blessings for all of us is unlimited.

It's only us that puts limit to it by the size of our faith. According to our faith, we will be measured by God.

Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.-Luke 6:38

It is not that I am eager for the gift; rather, I am eager for the profit that accrues to your account. I have received full payment and I abound. I am very well supplied because of what I received from you through Epaphroditus, “a fragrant aroma,” an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. My God will fully supply whatever you need, in accord with his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.-Philippians 4:17-19

May you have a happy and prosperous life!

Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: John 14:15-21

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me, because I live and you will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father and you are in me and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”

How do you prove that you love God? - OBEDIENCE to His commands.

In Psalm 91:14-16, God has promised 7 things to those who love him: “Whoever clings to me I will deliver; whoever knows my name I will set on high. All who call upon me I will answer; I will be with them in distress; I will deliver them and give them honor. With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power.”

The Healing Message:

7 Things About Obeying God's Commands

1) There is no difficult command that God has given.

God has given us two kinds of commands: TO DO and NOT TO DO

“Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”-Luke 6:37-38

2) Obeying is a sign of true love to God.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”-John 14:15

“Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”-John 14:21

3) Disobedience is a sign that we do not love God.

“Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.”-John 14:24-25

4) Obedience to God is a way to strengthen us so that we can withstand all the challenges that life will throw at us.

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock. And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”-Matthew 7:24-27

5) Obedience is the key to the gate of Heaven.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’ Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’” -Matthew 7:21-23

6) Obedience is the key to success and prosperity.

Keep this book of the law on your lips. Recite it by day and by night, that you may observe carefully all that is written in it; then you will successfully attain your goal.”-Joshua 1:8

If they obey and serve him, they spend their days in prosperity, their years in happiness.-Job 36:11

7) Obedience is the key to a long life.

“And if you follow me by keeping my statutes and commandments, as your father David did, I will give you a long life.”-1 Kings 3:14

“With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power.”-Psalm 91:16

May you have a happy and prosperous life!

Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: Matthew 17:14-20

When they came to the crowd a man approached, knelt down before him, and said, “Lord, have pity on my son, for he is a lunatic and suffers severely; often he falls into fire, and often into water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Jesus said in reply, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I be with you? How long will I endure you? Bring him here to me.” Jesus rebuked him and the demon came out of him, and from that hour the boy was cured. Then the disciples approached Jesus in private and said, “Why could we not drive it out?” He said to them, “Because of your little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

The Healing Message:

7 Things About Faith In God That Makes Things Happen

1) A person who has faith in God puts his hope in God and believes that whatever he desire will be given by God.

Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.-Hebrews 11:1

2) Speak or shout what you desire.

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command.

God first saw the universe in his mind. After he thought of it, he then called it and it appeared.

By faith we understand that the universe was ordered by the word of God, so that what is visible came into being through the invisible. -Hebrews 11:3

Think what you want, and think well, before you shout or speak your desires.

As it is written, “I have made you father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into being what does not exist.-Romans 4:17

3) The man who has faith in God imitates the Lord Jesus Christ.

Whatever Jesus said, we say. Whatever Jesus did, we do.

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.-John 14:12

4) The man who has faith puts God first in everything.

By faith Abel offered to God a sacrifice greater than Cain’s. Through this he was attested to be righteous, God bearing witness to his gifts, and through this, though dead, he still speaks.-Hebrews 11:4

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits of all your produce; Then will your barns be filled with grain, with new wine your vats will overflow.-Proverbs 3:9-10

5) A man of faith does not yield to temptation but lives by the word of God and submits himself to God. He worships and serves God only.

At this, Jesus said to him, “Get away, Satan! It is written: ‘The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.’”-Matthew 4:10

6) A man of faith has holy fear in God. A man of faith believes in things he has not seen.

By faith Noah, warned about what was not yet seen, with reverence built an ark for the salvation of his household. Through this he condemned the world and inherited the righteousness that comes through faith.-Hebrews 11:7

For God is the one who, for his good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work.-Philippians 2:13

Whatever the world says, obey God's commands.

7) He does not walk by sight but by faith.

A man of faith never stops believing and does not go away from God in the midst of trials.

May you have a happy and prosperous life!

Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: Matthew 7:7-12

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asks for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.

“Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.”

The Healing Message:

Why Do We Have To Ask (Why Do We Have To Pray)

1) Because God loves us and he wants to establish with us a personal contact every moment through prayer.

If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him. -Matthew 7:11

2) Because God wants us to be joyful all the time and it is through prayer that the joy of the Lord is transferred to us.

Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint (him) with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain upon the land. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit.
-James 5:13-18

Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.-John 16:20-24

3) Because it is God's command.

Then he told them a parable about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary.-Luke 18:1

4) Because he wants us to glorify him here on earth.

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.
-John 14:12-14

It is your duty to shout to the world when your prayers are answered.

5) To give honor to God.

Offer praise as your sacrifice to God; fulfill your vows to the Most High. Then call on me in time of distress; I will rescue you, and you shall honor me.-Psalm 50:14-15

Those who offer praise as a sacrifice honor me; to the obedient I will show the salvation of God.-Psalm 50:23

6) To keep us closer and closer and closer to God.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.-John 15:7-8

7) So that we'll understand the things that only God can explain.

The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time while he was still imprisoned in the quarters of the guard: Thus says the Lord who made the earth and gave it form and firmness, whose name is Lord: Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell to you things great beyond reach of your knowledge.-Jeremiah 33:1-3

May you have a happy and prosperous life!

Gospel Reading For The Healing Message: Luke 5:17-26

One day as Jesus was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there who had come from every village of Galatiansilee and Judea and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was with him for healing. And some men brought on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; they were trying to bring him in and set (him) in his presence. But not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the tiles° into the middle in front of Jesus. When he saw their faith, he said, “As for you, your sins are forgiven.” Then the scribes and Pharisees began to ask themselves, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who but God alone can forgive sins?” Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them in reply, “What are you thinking in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins’’—he said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, rise, pick up your stretcher, and go home.” He stood up immediately before them, picked up what he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying God. Then astonishment seized them all and they glorified God, and, struck with awe, they said, “We have seen incredible things today.”

There are 2 kinds of faith:

1. Visible faith - faith with works; faith that is seen through the works
2. Invisible faith - faith without works; Godless; hopeless; lifeless; restless; homeless; Christless; invisible to God

The power of the Lord only works to those who have faith; a faith with works. So now, how can we make our faith visible to God?

The Healing Message:

7 Things We Can Do To Show Our Faith In Jesus

1) Come to Jesus, listen to his word and believe it.

Come to where the miracles are taking place.

The royal official said to him, “Sirach, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, “You may go; your son will live.” The man believed what Jesus said to him and left. While he was on his way back, his slaves met him and told him that his boy would live.-John 4:49-51

2) Tell the world of his love, of his power, of what he is doing into your life and invite people to come to Jesus.

Be a channel of God's grace especially to those who does not believe in God.

3) Do whatever Jesus tells you to do.

Fix your eyes on Jesus only.

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was to go. -Hebrews 11:8

4) Don't give up.

But the woman came and did him homage, saying, “Lord, help me.” He said in reply, “It is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.” She said, “Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from the table of their masters.” Then Jesus said to her in reply, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.-Matthew 15:25-28

5) No matter what happens, don't be afraid but believe that God is with you (the power of 1+1=3).

While he was still speaking, people from the synagogue official’s house arrived and said, “Your daughter has died; why trouble the teacher any longer?” Disregarding the message that was reported, Jesus said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid; just have faith.”-Mark 5:35-36

6) Give God something as a seed of your faith.

Give him your best.

Some time after these events, God put Abraham to the test. He called to him, “Abraham!” “Ready!” he replied. Then God said: “Take your son Isaac, your only one, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah. There you shall offer him up as a holocaust on a height that I will point out to you.” Early the next morning Abraham saddled his donkey, took with him his son Isaac, and two of his servants as well, and with the wood that he had cut for the holocaust, set out for the place of which God had told him.

On the third day Abraham got sight of the place from afar. Then he said to his servants: “Both of you stay here with the donkey, while the boy and I go on over yonder. We will worship and then come back to you.” Thereupon Abraham took the wood for the holocaust and laid it on his son Isaac’s shoulders, while he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two walked on together, Isaac spoke to his father Abraham. “Father!” he said. “Yes, son,” he replied. Isaac continued, “Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the sheep for the holocaust?” “Son,” Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the sheep for the holocaust.” Then the two continued going forward.

When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. Next he tied up his son Isaac, and put him on top of the wood on the altar. Then he reached out and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the Lord’s messenger called to him from heaven, “Abraham, Abraham!” “Yes, Lord,” he answered. “Do not lay your hand on the boy,” said the messenger. “Do not do the least thing to him. I know now how devoted you are to God, since you did not withhold from me your own beloved son.” As Abraham looked about, he spied a ram caught by its horns in the thicket. So he went and took the ram and offered it up as a holocaust in place of his son. Abraham named the site Yahweh-yireh; hence people now say, “On the mountain the Lord will see.”

Again the Lord’s messenger called to Abraham from heaven and said: “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you acted as you did in not withholding from me your beloved son, I will bless you abundantly and make your descendants as countless as the stars of the sky and the sands of the seashore; your descendants shall take possession of the gates of their enemies, and in your descendants all the nations of the earth shall find blessing—all this because you obeyed my command.’’
-Genesis 22:1-18

7) Serve God; Give to God; Pray to God continually. The power of God remains in such a person.

But these men insisted. “Keep in mind, O king,” they said, “that under the Mede and Persian law every royal prohibition or decree is irrevocable.” So the king ordered Daniel to be brought and cast into the lions’ den. To Daniel he said, “May your God, whom you serve so constantly, save you.” To forestall any tampering, the king sealed with his own ring and the rings of the lords the stone that had been brought to block the opening of the den. Then the king returned to his palace for the night; he refused to eat and he dismissed the entertainers. Since sleep was impossible for him, the king rose very early the next morning and hastened to the lions’ den. As he drew near, he cried out to Daniel sorrowfully, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, has the God whom you serve so constantly been able to save you from the lions?” Daniel answered the king: “O king, live forever! My God has sent his angel and closed the lions’ mouths so that they have not hurt me. For I have been found innocent before him; neither to you have I done any harm, O king!”-Daniel 6:16-23

May you have a happy and prosperous life!
